Another reason for doing these review posts is a great way to record our days so Daddy can read about them while he is away on deployment. So there may be more than just homeschooling updates in these posts.
It's a little funny though that I think of this idea while we are on our Fall Break, so there won't be any "school work" to review this week.
Sunday we went to church and then had lunch at IHop ~ thanks to my Aunt who sent us a $25 gift card!
On the way home from lunch, the truck blew a spark plug. We had to call our Pastor to come get us to take us home. That was a little frustrating because of the recent car issues that we have experienced in the last few months.
We spent most of the day on Monday cleaning and decluttering around the house since we couldn't go any where. Sadly we missed our Sign Language class and Praise Team practice.
My In-Laws came down from Ohio on Tuesday afternoon. My Father-in-law spent about 3 hours replacing the blown spark plug in the truck. What a blessing that they were willing to come down on such short notice to help get the truck fixed.
Wednesday afternoon my Mother-in-law and I went to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore to look around for some treasures. I didn't find anything that I couldn't live without. The kids got to spend some time with Papaw while we were gone.
We spent two hours bowling and had a pizza lunch with some homeschool friends on Thursday. This is now a regular bi-weekly activity for us. It's fun and great exercise. The bowling alley has a special for this day, it's only $25 per lane for the 2 hours which includes the shoe rental, a 17" pizza, and a pitch of soda.

Friday started out very lazy because we slept in until noon! Michaela and I got busy though and really did a thorough cleaning in the family & dining room. Michaela had to babysit Friday evening. I got a little blogging done while the boys played Minecraft together.

Saturday has been pretty lazy. Not much to report :)
Well, next week we will be getting back to a regular {hopefully} school schedule, so the next "Week in Review" should be a little more exciting.
