What was I waiting for???
Everett loves it!!!
{And Eli enjoyed it too!}
Every day this week Everett would point to the Sendory Tub on the top shelf and say "Play Please, Play Please"....
Although it did get a little messy as Everett found other ways to play with the rice. And several times I had to remind Everett not to eat the rice.
Everett was always eager to help clean up the mess though.
Then I remembered that I had an extra vinyl shower curtain in the bathroom cabinet....
Now the mess was slightly more contained.....although our Boxer still seemed a little concerned by the mess.
But it was easier to pick up the whole shower curtain and just dump the rice back into the tub (of course I still had to run the vacuum for the pieces that managed to escape the play area).
The sensory tub was a HUGE hit and kept Everett (& Eli) entertained for several hours this week!
So today began my search for more ideas. You can check out my board on Pinterest. My favorite pin is this one......{of course now I will have to get a paper shredder!}
The ideas & possibilities are endless: colored rice, cotton balls, themes, water, rocks.....truly SENSORY-SENSATIONAL!
