We're Back!!!

You may have wondered where on earth we have been for the past month....we moved....it was a fast & furious move! 

 

We literally packed our 5 bedroom house and moved it into a 3 bedroom house in 4 days!  I know that sounds crazy, doesn't it???

 

Why on earth would we go from a 5 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house with 6 people living under the same roof???  Well, the 3 bedroom is actually larger than the 5 bedroom house, square footage wise....and we now have a basement for storage, that eventually will be turned into two more bedrooms {hopefully this summer}.

 

We have lots of extras in the new house that we did not at the old house....2.5 bathrooms instead of 1; a dishwasher; and a six-foot privacy fence; we can paint the walls.... why do those little things count as extras?  Ok, the first one, 2.5 bathrooms instead of 1....that's kinda obvious ;)  A dishwasher....the girls don't grumble anymore to do the dishes {and truth be told-neither do I}.  Six-foot privacy fence....no more taking the dogs outside on leashes to go potty!!!   We have been living in a house with white walls for two years....white walls when they are freshly painted & bright & clean are great....but after two years of kids & dogs, they are NOT white anymore!!!

 

We still have some unpacking & organizing to do around here but we are getting back into a "normal" routine again!!!  YAY!!!!
